As part of our Alice in Wonderland themed week, the children in Year 1 attended a tea party with The Madhatter, the Queen of Hearts and Sir David Attenborough, whom they wrote invitations to.   After they enjoyed some cake and 'mad' humour, they played some traditional games.    Having learnt all about Sir David Attenborough's work in animal conservation, croquet with flamingos and hedgehogs was most definitely frowned upon - we played hoopla and pin the smile on the Cheshire Cat instead
