Even a lack of electricity this week did not dampen the spirits of the children. We had a great final week at school (for this term!) and finished off with a fantastic PTA valentines disco and non school uniform day.

It's been Childrens Mental Health week (3rd-9th Feb) and in school we've been making the most of the weather to enhance our well-being both in and out doors. We've had a great time supporting each other in our work and during our break times.
Chinese New Year celebrations, a Chickenpox alert and an Ofsted inspection, what a varied and busy week we've had!
Another bumper week with a warm glow of pride. We had a fantastic trip to London to see Matilda and were absolutely thrilled to receive many compliments about the exceptional manners displayed by all our children.
It's been a great 2nd week of the Spring term and we've really got into our stride. We've had a fantastic time during outdoor learning and there's such a lot to explore at this time of year

We had a fantastic festive week with our nativity play, as well as all the usual and exciting topics in class
Well, it's only a short time until the Christmas break and, to the joy of the children, the school has been transformed into a winter wonderland. The children are working hard on their performances and a big thank you to Mr Smith for the wonderful Christmas tree, which gives a real sense of occasion and an inviting atmosphere for all to enjoy.
In addition to preparing for our Christmas performances, we're still hard at work with stories, maths and computing. This time of year is such a mixture of activities, it's brilliant.
Big News from the PTA on this year's Christmas Shhhop our non uniform day on 29th November and the final tally for our Children in Need donations. Thank you so much for your kind donations and support of our activities.
We're really proud of what the children have achieved this week, with Rowan class leading our Remembrance service and the whole school pulling together to raise funds for Children in Need. What a fantastic community we have.
