Latest on the Covid-19 situation and lots of positive news from the classes. The children have really rallied around in school, enjoying the sunshine and making the most of this terms topics. With Mothering Sunday this weekend there's been lots of evidence of creative endeavour in all corners of the school.
We've had a lovely Spring sunshine week in school this week with lots of outside play whilst working on our topic work. There's news of upcoming dates for parent consultation evenings, a community work party for St Mary's Church, Burghfield and a link to Public Health England advice on the Coronavirus pandemic . Fantastic storybook fun this week! The children have really enjoyed the time with parents coming to read in class, in corridors, on the school grounds and anywhere else they could find to make the stories come to life. See inside for all the news
Events for next week include World Book Day, Quirks Roadshow and Rushall Farm visit. Please see our newsletter for details. Lots of news from the classes with visits to the greengrocers and investigations into the animal kingdom.
Lots of news on upcoming events, but first a short half term break to recharge the batteries! Please remember to 'sign up' if your child want to attend a school club. Book week is nearly upon us, time to fish out the fun character costumes.
